חברים יקרים, לקראת בואו לארץ של המוסיקאי רוברט "בוב דילן" צימרמן, ולנוכח מקהלת האנטישמים שביקשה שיחרים את ישראל, החלטתי לשלוח לו מכתב תמיכה ותודה.
אם יש אזרחים ששולחים כל מיני מכתבי החרמה לאמנים בעולם, מן הראוי שאזרחים טובים וישרים יעשו מעשה שכנגד... וישלחו מכתבי תמיכה. במיוחד כשמדובר באדם שכבר הביע בעבר הזדהות ותמיכה בתורתו של הרב ובארץ-ישראל לעם היהודי.
אני שם פה את המכתב (באנגלית) ומי שרוצה להצטרף לחתומים על המכתב או להציע הצעות מוזמן להגיב פה בפורום.

Dear Mr. Robert Allen Zimmerman,
I am writing to thank you, as one Jew to another, for supporting us and not giving in to the bigots who have contacted you requesting you to support them and their ‘Palestinian’ friends’ quest for human-rights and destruction of the Jewish Democratic State of Israel.
As you must be aware, in recent months there has been a growing global movement named ‘Global BDS Israel’, calling on artists, academics and businessmen to boycott Israel. We have been informed that these people have contacted you as well, urging you ‘not to play apartheid Israel’. One can not overstate the joy we (true Jews and loyal citizens of The Jewish Democratic State of Israel) felt when heard that regardless of this anti-semitic pressure on you, you will come and honor us with your presence, sing to us and make our hearts bloom with ‘sasson ve simcha’ (happiness and joy).
Even though your commitment to Israel does not come as a surprise, we still feel the need to support you as you support us, to strengthen your hand and to assure you that you are doing the right thing. You have shown to us in the past not only your commitment to The Jewish Democratic State (In your educational visit here in the 70’s) but also to the true values of Judaism, as our beloved Rabi, the late Meir Kahane (may g_d avenge his soul!) has interpreted them. If we may quote you, “He's a really sincere guy...He's really put it all together.”.
Indeed, in these troubled days, our dear Rabi Kahane has once again been proved correct on his ideology; As Rabi Kahane had put it, “"The question is as follows: if the Arabs settle among us and make enough children to become a majority, will Israel continue to be a Jewish state? Do we have to accept that the Arab majority will decide?… Western democracy has to be ruled out. For me that's cut and dried: there's no question of setting up democracy in Israel, because democracy means equal rights for all, irrespective of racial or religious origins."
We now know that the ‘democratic’ part of our government is failing the Jewish people - tearing down our homes and ethnically cleansing Jews from towns (as was done in 2006). The world is full of democracies, but you and us know that the Jews need their own, special and Jewish place - The Land of Israel!
Dear Mr. Zimmerman, you are correct in you support and admiration of Rabi Meir Kahane, as you are right in your support and admiration for The Jewish State of Israel, and for that, we admire and support you!
